A bit more about me
Born in Czechoslovakia (now Czechia), I started playing the piano at the age of 4. Between 1995 and 2006 I became the winner of most major national music competitions and was soon recognised as one of the leading names of the then-upcoming generation of Czech pianists. In 2007, I received a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music and moved to London.
Today, I am a truly versatile pianist; a soloist, collaborator, teacher. I play music that ranges from core classical to jazz, film, folk and experimental, I perform live at concerts and work in recording studios. In the past, I curated festivals, appeared as a guest on Czech Radio 3 Czech TV chat shows and worked in many European countries, North and South America, the Caribbean and Asia. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, I started improvising and composing my own music.
